WHAT IS YOUR OFSTED RATING?

WHERE DO SPRING ASC CLUBS TAKE PLACE?

We run clubs at:

The club base at Bonner (Mile End) is in Block C (the old fire station). We also use playground, hall and classroom facilities at the school. Please note that only the English Street entrance to the school is open after 4pm.

 We work with St Paul with St Luke to provide wraparound care for this small school. We collect children from their classes and bring them to our Bonner base in Mile End for after school activities. If you would like to register or book activities for a child from St Paul with St Luke, please email us in advance so that we can arrange collection.

 

Lansbury Lawrence Primary School

The club at Lansbury Lawrence opens on November 12th 2018. Please register your child on our MagicBooking website.

SPRING Lansbury Lawrence takes place in the former Children’s Centre. We also use playground, hall and classroom facilities at the school. The centre has its own dedicated entrance.

This club picks up from other local schools, including Bygrove, Mayflower and Our Lady and St Joseph RC schools.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

3.15pm-6pm on days that school is in session. We do not currently run holiday clubs. Clubs do not currently run on INSET days.

 

HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD?

We use MagicBooking for registration and booking. Please visit:

You will be asked to provide information such as birth date, school details, contact numbers and medical details. You will also be asked to read and agree to our Terms and Conditions.

Alternatively, you can email our office on admin@springasc.co.uk for help with registration and for bulk bookings or payments. we are very friendly!

 

HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?

Book sessions for your children using Magic Booking. You can book up until midday on the day of each session. We cannot accept bookings later in the day than this except for occasional emergencies – in this case, please contact each club manager personally.

 

HOW DO I PAY?

The club costs £10 per day per child. This is payable in advance by card using the Magic Booking site. We can accept bank transfer for bulk,advance bookings -please contact our office.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT CHILDCARE VOUCHERS?

Yes, we accept electronic vouchers through Edenred (Carer Account Number is P21150896), Sodexo (Carer ID: 879990, registered business postcode E3 4TH) and Computershare (ID 0024889414, SPRING ASC or E3 4QE If your employer uses a system other than Edenred, Sodexo or Computershare to issue vouchers, please let us know and we should be able to accommodate your vouchers within a few days.

DO I NEED TO BOOK A PLACE FOR MY CHILD IN ADVANCE?

You need to have registered your child in advance. Bookings can be made until midday. We can accept pre-registered children on a casual or emergency basis on occasion, provided there is space. Please contact the club manager in such cases.

CAN I PICK MY CHILD UP AFTER 6PM IF I AM RUNNING LATE?

No. The schoolkeeper closes the school at 6pm and pickups after this time break our terms and conditions. A late fine will be payable and unfortunately repeat offenders may lose their space.

 

DO YOU DO SCHOOL PICK UPS?

Children from Bonner Primary School (Mile End site) will be brought to the club base by their teacher.

We collect children from St Paul with St Luke and bring them to our club base at Bonner Primary School (Mile End). Please contact us if you are interested in this.

We do not usually pick up from other schools but this can be arranged in some circumstances. Please email us.

Children from Lansbury Lawrence are brought to the club base by their teacher. We also collect from other local schools, including Bygrove Primary School, Mayflower Primary School and Our Lady and St Joseph RC Primary School.

 

WHAT IF MY CHILD IS ATTENDING A SCHOOL CLUB UNTIL 4.15?

Just let us know and we will collect your child from the school club.

 

WHAT IS YOUR STAFF: CHILD RATIO?

Our staff:child ratios are excellent and exceed government guidelines in all age groups.

 

ARE YOUR STAFF QUALIFIED?

We are proud of the quality of our talented, hardworking and experienced staff. Most are qualified to at least Level 3 (full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification). Our coaches and teachers are all qualified in their field. Most members of staff are qualified in First Aid, including Paediatric First Aid. In addition, all staff undergo regular training in safeguarding, safe food handling and SPRING ASC quality provision.

 

WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL MY CHILD DO?

Please see our Activities page for timetables, club information and to book your child on a specialist course. We provide an exciting range of daily activities and clubs, including specialist coaching and teaching sessions as part of the normal activity timetable. We also provide homework and reading help, although we strongly encourage parents to remain closely interested in their child’s school work and to continue to read with them daily.

In addition to our included activities, parents may choose to book one of our additional cost activities, which include maths and English tuition and private music lessons. Please see our Extra! page for more details.

 

HOW DO I CONTACT THE CLUB?

You can call or text the manager on the dedicated phone or email. The school office does pass on messages to us but we prefer it if you contact us directly. Please see our CONTACTS section.

 

WHAT SNACKS DO YOU PROVIDE?

We provide a good snack at 3.30 (see menu below as a guide), and fruit again later in the evening. This snack is not intended to replace the child’s evening meal. We do not serve meat products at all; our food is almost entirely vegetarian with some fish products offered, eg tuna as a sandwich filling choice. If your child has allergies or an intolerance to certain foods we will work closely with you to make sure all needs are catered for.

Our menu is as follows, although this is a guide only.

MONDAY: Crackers, choice of cheeses, rye and corn thins, biscuits, selection of fruit, vegetables and dips.

TUESDAY: Sandwiches or toast with range of fillings, selection of fruit, vegetables and dips. Cookery Club.

WEDNESDAYS: Wraps or pitta with range of fillings with various toppings, fruit, vegetables, dips

THURSDAYS: Hot crumpets with various toppings, selection of fruit, vegetables, dips.

FRIDAYS: Soup, bread, selection of fruit, vegetables and dips.
